Meet the community that keeps the centre list alive — NHS is members, volunteers, and clinicians, not only an office address.

More than a directory

Treatment centre lists go stale when phone numbers change or clinics move. NHS volunteers update pathways through member feedback from every province.

When you call the office, you reach people who also attend government meetings and World Hemophilia Day — the same team links community and advocacy.

Chapters outside Kathmandu

Public NHS material references chapters in Bhaktapur, Chitwan, Parsa, Sunsari, and Kaski (Pokhara), plus contacts such as Kailali. Chapters help with travel planning and moral support; infusions still happen in hospitals.

If your district lacks a chapter, say so when you register. New volunteers often start because one family refused isolation.

Events where you meet people

Health camps, advocacy meetings, and 17 April gatherings are where names become phone numbers. You are not required to speak publicly to belong.

Check the events section of this website or email nepalhemo@gmail.com for the next date near you.

Give back the update

After each hospital visit, tell NHS if the clinic day or assay availability changed. Your one sentence helps the next family travelling from your district.

This page is general information from Nepal Hemophilia Society. It is not a diagnosis or a treatment plan. A bleed, a head injury, or bleeding after an accident needs urgent hospital care. Ask your treatment centre before you change any treatment.
