Become a Member

Join Nepal Hemophilia Society and connect with a community that understands — membership is how the national voice is counted.

Who can join

Membership is open to people with bleeding disorders, parents and carers, clinicians, and supporters who want diagnosis and safe treatment improved across Nepal.

There is no online payment on this website. Contact the Anamnagar office to confirm membership, explain registration, and learn what chapter contact is nearest your district.

What membership is — and is not

Membership registers you with the national patient organisation recognised by the World Federation of Hemophilia. It is not the same as opening a hospital treatment file.

Clinical care — factor assays, infusions, surgery planning — still flows through your treatment centre. NHS supports community, information, events, and advocacy.

What members receive

Updates on World Hemophilia Day, health camps, and advocacy meetings. Safety news when product batches or international inquiry reports affect Nepal.

Connection to other families and volunteers who have navigated school letters, travel to centres, and supply gaps.

Why numbers matter for advocacy

When NHS meets provincial ministers, registered membership shows how many people stand behind each ask. Your name in the register — held confidentially — supports funding for assays and safe products.

If you were diagnosed years ago but never registered, it is not too late. Call the office this week.

This page is general information from Nepal Hemophilia Society. It is not a diagnosis or a treatment plan. A bleed, a head injury, or bleeding after an accident needs urgent hospital care. Ask your treatment centre before you change any treatment.
