Reach Out

The office is at the end of an email or phone when you need information and support — with clear limits on emergency care.

How to contact NHS

Nepal Hemophilia Society, Anamnagar, Rudmatti Marg, Kathmandu. Open Sunday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.

Email nepalhemo@gmail.com for membership, events, media enquiries, fundraising, and general questions. Phone 01-5172729 when you need a quicker conversation in Nepali or English.

What the office can help with

Registration and chapter introductions. Explaining how to reach a treatment centre and what papers to carry. Event dates and advocacy updates. Connecting you to other families when you consent.

The office does not keep factor on shelf and cannot instruct a hospital to infuse by telephone.

When to call the treatment centre or emergency services first

Head injury, neck swelling, belly pain, black stool, or a bleed that will not stop after following the plan your centre gave you — go to emergency care and say haemophilia is diagnosed or suspected.

Then contact NHS when the person is stable if you need follow-up advocacy or help navigating care.

Protecting your privacy

Avoid sending full lab reports or identity documents by unsecured social media. Email is better; in-person delivery is best for sensitive papers.

Staff will never share your story in advocacy materials without asking permission first.

This page is general information from Nepal Hemophilia Society. It is not a diagnosis or a treatment plan. A bleed, a head injury, or bleeding after an accident needs urgent hospital care. Ask your treatment centre before you change any treatment.
