Meet the community

Other families are the reason Nepal Hemophilia Society exists — you are not registering into a empty database.

Why community comes early

Diagnosis paperwork is cold. Another parent who remembers the first swollen knee often explains more in ten minutes than a stack of brochures.

NHS introduces families when you consent — by phone, at meetings, or through chapter volunteers.

World Hemophilia Day and camps

17 April and district health camps are the usual first meeting points. You can attend without speaking publicly.

Children seeing other children on factor or in wheelchairs from joint damage learn both hope and seriousness — care matters.

Privacy choices

You control whether your name appears in advocacy stories or photos. Membership does not require social media exposure.

Many help only by updating centre information quietly after appointments.

How to step in

Register at the office. Ask for the nearest active member contact. Say if you prefer Nepali or English.

If you are a clinician, offer training days — community includes white coats and parent volunteers equally.

This page is general information from Nepal Hemophilia Society. It is not a diagnosis or a treatment plan. A bleed, a head injury, or bleeding after an accident needs urgent hospital care. Ask your treatment centre before you change any treatment.
